Get into angling at sessions

A FREE taster session for aspiring anglers takes place at South Cerney Angling Club on Saturday.

In partnership with the Cotswold Waterpark Trust, the Cirencester club has held a series of open days as part of National Fishing Month.

They offer the opportunity for the public to try their hands at the sport with oneto- one guidance from a licensed coach.

The idea is to encourage every family member to have a go at fishing whatever the age, gender or ability.

South Cerney AC’s Gillman’s Lake, on the Wickwater complex in Wickwater Lane, is the venue and the action begins at 10am, with the last session at 4pm.

Sessions last for approximately 30 minutes, with all fishing tackle, bait and licences provided.
