Davies delight

BROADWAY’S Sue Davies bagged the Good Care Group Bowls England women’s 55 and over singles trophy.

She beat Buckinghamshire's Sue Springell 21-8 in the final at the women’s national championships in Leamington Spa.

Davies earlier saw off Oxfordshire’s M Lewis and A Dickinson from Suffolk, both by 21-16 scorelines, in the knock-out stages.
