THE Parish Games crosscountry at Pershore High School with 67 runners from 13 parishes taking part.

Winners for the second year running were Fladbury with 72 points.

In second place, over 100 points behind were Broadway with 177, with last year’s runners-up, Little Comberton, third with 188.

The next one-day event is bowls, which takes place on Sunday at Bredon Bowling Club. Rounders has been rearranged for September 16.
