The future's bright for young ace Noel
BROADWAY’S Noel Watters enjoyed success at the Hereford and Worcestershire closed nine and unders tournament.
The nine-year-old claimed the prestigious miniorange grade three event at Malvern’s Manor Park.
He won his four group matches and progressed through the semi to beat Stuart Shannon 7-2, 7-4 in the final.
Watters, who trains at Pershore Tennis Centre with performance coach Mike Crooks, had a good summer, reaching the final and last-eight stage at competitions in Birmingham.
