ASHTON-under-Hill remain unbeaten in the Worcestershire Indoor Cricket League Evesham Division but Bredon top the table.
The villagers scored 119-5 and restricted Alcester and Ragley to 85-3 in a 34-run win.
Will Archer (40) and Richard Cooper (20) hit 65 in the first six overs.
After Archer’s retirement, the innings lost momentum and the first wicket on 75 runs was followed by more with help from the batsmen.
Alcester conceded 30 wides and Tom Miles boosted the score by 14 in the last over.
Adam Warbrick took 2-22 and Steve Capron 2-31.
With the new ball swinging, 120 looked a severe challenge.
Archer’s 1-11 and spinner Joe Nishi’s 0-16 kept Alcester on the back foot with only 36 runs by halfway.
Ben Lee (27 not out) and Richard Nichols (28no) hit 14 from the last over but they finished some way off.
Dumbleton (100-4) lost to Pershore (101-4) with four balls remaining.
Pershore looked well set by the seventh over on 81-2 and run-outs only brought back Liam Ridings (33no) and Chris Ayliffe (33no).
Adam Stuart and Tom Green bowled with pace and swing, with the former removing Adam Wiffin.
Dumbleton openers Matthew Nicholson (26no) and Stuart (23) found the swinging new ball tough, posting 35 in the first five overs. The bowlers remained in control and Ayliffe took 1-21.
League table: Bredon 6 points, Ashton-under-Hill 5, Pershore 4, Feckenham 4, Dumbleton 3, Harving-ton 2, Alcester 0, Stanway Boxmen 0.
