TOM Kohler-Cadmore continued his promising pre-season form with an unbeaten century in Worcestershire’s warm-up match against Northamptonshire at Northampton.

Kohler-Cadmore followed up his unbeaten 63 against Oxford MCCU last week by making 119 not out in the drawn fixture.

In reply to Northants’ totals of 318-8 declared and 90-5 declared, Worcestershire closed on 332-8 from 86 overs.

It represented Worcestershire's last action after eight pre-season games - four in Abu Dhabi and four in England - before Sunday's opening LV = County Championship clash with Division One champions Yorkshire at New Road.

Kohler-Cadmore will go into that game full of confidence after reaching his half century off 69 balls and three figures off 158 deliveries.

The former Malvern College pupil also impressed during last year's pre-season programme and earned a place in the starting line-up.

Moeen Ali returned to action on the day he was crowned one of Wisden's Five Cricketers Of The Year.

The 27-year-old England all-rounder was playing for the first time since suffering a side strain against Bangladesh during the World Cup a month ago.

Moeen went to the wicket in his accustomed number three slot and was second top scorer with 38.

Ben Cox (36) and Brett D'Oliveira (33) were the other main contributors as Worcestershire finished on 332-8 from 86 overs.
