PERSHORE Cricket Club celebrated their first win in Birmingham and District Premier League Division Two.
They beat struggling Worcester visitors Old Elizabethans by three wickets in a Worcestershire derby.
James Padden (55) and Atiq ur-Rehman (47) helped OEs to a total of 213 all out against Pershore who responded with 214-7 to triumph.
Taylor Pugh took 3-28 for Pershore who were led to victory by Adam Wiffen (105 not out) and skipper Chris Ridings (47).
The duo came together after eighth-placed Pershore, who visit Old Hill on Saturday (noon), had lost five early wickets.
Wiffen’s century included 15 boundaries after Matt Davis (4-57) had caused most of the early damage.
Pershore seconds beat hosts Dorridge by 43 runs in Division Two South after dismissing them for 192 in reply to 235 all out. Skipper Jonathan Stickler top scored with 92
