PERSHORE remain in a cluster of five teams on 45 points at the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League Division Two summit having battled to a closely-contested win over Attock.
Arsalaan Mahmood hit 78 of Attock’s all-out total of 210 as the hosts shared around the wickets, two apiece for Luke Dalley, George Kirby, Matthew Brace and Stephen Miles.
Zayn Hussain (3-36) looked likely to influence Pershore’s response, claiming the wickets that saw them stumble at 50 for two but a 102-run third-wicket stand between Chris Ridings (72) and Chris Miles (44) turned the tide.
Charlie Norton (16) then plundered a trio of fours to help the hosts over the line with 212 for six in 48.5 overs, sealing a four-wicket success.
Pershore sit third, in the middle of Harborne, Wombourne, Penkridge and Sutton Coldfield going into Saturday’s trip to Wombourne (noon).
The seconds suffered a 10-wicket whitewash at Halesowen.
