United youngsters win twice and find net 14 times

Bidford Jnrs 0, Evesham Utd U-14 7

EVESHAM dominated with Henry Woods opening the scoring with an assist from Andy Powell.

Dan Wilcox extended the lead when he responded quickly after a shot from Woods had hit a post.

Elliot Grady then added to the score with help from Ivan Masica and, after further pressure and some superb saves from the Bidford keeper, Grady headed in Tom Evans' well-flighted free-kick.

Woods then doubled his account with a well-placed penalty and, with Ryan Griffith strong in midfield, defenders Leon Ballard, Tim DiFranco and Adam Boycott were able to support the attack.

As the game progressed, Masica did well to find the net following Matt Fellows' corner, before Pedro Bernardo followed suit from 35 yards with the keeper stranded off his line.

Inkberrow Eagles 0, Evesham Utd U-14 9

UNITED moved into the semi-finals of the League Cup with a win over the Eagles who had held firm for the first 20 minutes.

Elliot Grady opened the scoring after a cross from Matt Fellows and this opened the floodgates with Ivan Masica tapping in after Andy Powell headed on.

Leon Ballard then set up Fellows with a long crossfield pass for the left footer to control and hit home.

Fellows then crossed for Adam Boycott to score with a bullet header.

After the break, James Coldrick netted following a break which started in his own half and ended with the ball in the top corner.

Powell laid back a ball for Fellows to drive in his second before completing his hat-trick after a cross from Coldrick.

Grady made it 8-0 with a goal that almost fooled the referee by creeping out of the back of the net and then soon secured his hat-trick with a shot that the Eagles' keeper couldn't quite prevent crossing the line.

Yet again the Evesham defence firm with fine performances from Ryan Griffith, James Towey, Owen Jones, Tim DiFranco and Pedro Bernardo who was required to deputise in goal for most of the game.
