Gain revenge over Badgers

Evesham Utd U-11 2, L & B Badgers Wdrs 0

UNITED gained revenge over Wanderers for a defeat earlier in the season and were boosted by an early goal from Daniel Bowles.

Evesham dominated the top of the table clash in the first half when shots from Matthew Abbott, Daniel Chapman and Leon Napper were narrowly off target.

Goalkeeper Jack Carter was tested more after the break when Liam Williamson and Matthew Keitley also starred but it was player of the match Harrison Wheatley who netted the crucial second goal.

Evesham Utd U-11 1, Charlton Rvrs Blues 1 (United won 4-1 on penalties)

EVESHAM secured a place in the C & G League Cup 11-a-side semi-finals after a shoot-out success.

They totally dominated the first 25 minutes but were unable to finish and Charlton scored just before half-time following a defensive error.

Jack Carter brought off a fine save before United levelled to take the game into penalties when Matthew Abbott, Leon Napper, Daniel Bowles and Josh Evans all netted and player of match Carter made a fine stop.
