LUKE Dalley returned figures of 5-65 but Pershore fell to a narrow three-wicket defeat against Oldswinford in Saturday's Worcestershire County League first division clash.
Home skipper Wayne Brigdale asked the visitors to bat first on a wicket that had been under water earlier in the week.
An opening stand of 85 between Joe Taylor (26) and David White laid the foundations for Pershore but, after White's removal for 65, a mixture of self-inflicted dismissals saw the middle order collapse and the innings deteriorate.

Pershore lost eight wickets for the addition of just 54 runs with only Trevor Ridings grafting for a solid 20. Oldswinford made a solid start after tea with James Holloway and Dave Haywood putting together an opening stand of 84.
After the former was dismissed for 55, the home side's middle order perished in much the same way as their opponents had earlier.
Skipper Lee Wilks was limited to three front line bowlers but the chasers were pegged back and, at the fall of the seventh wicket, ten runs were still needed from the last over.
However, Tom Blunt was the hero as he cracked 16 off ten balls to steer the home side to victory.
