MEMBERS of the Evesham club rounded off their winter season with the annual indoor handicap tournament at Wallace House.
Sally Gilder took the top honours by the narrowest of margins when recording a score of 1477 to reign supr-eme.
Shooting a Portsmouth round of five dozen arrows from 20 yards, the junior recurve bow archer had to fight off tough competition from fellow junior Calum Wilson who notched up a fine 1474. An archer shooting to handicap would score 1440 making both the top two's efforts extremely creditable.

Compound bow exponents Sarah Trout and Adam Mil-ler fought it out for third place with the former prevailing on 1453 to her clubmate's 1446. Dean Burnell was fifth (1437) and Damian Holmes-Bell sixth with a score of 1434 points.
The latter was also in action at the first of the year's inter-county contests when he shot at the Three Corners match between Worcestershire, Cheshire and Staffordshire on The Wirral.
In terrible weather conditions, the Vale recurve bow archer registered a score of 821 for the York round of 12 dozen arrows at 100, 80 and 60 yards.
George Scott entered 816 and the Evesham pair ended seocnd and third respectively for their county and will now receive 2008 bars as a result of their top six finishes.
