DESPITE a fine win against Weston-sub-Edge by Littleton Blues when Mike Emms skipped Chris Winnett and Geoff Ind to a great victory and an overall success - there were harder times for Littleton Gold.
Against Aston Reds at home, there was a good win by Malcolm Tweney, Pete South and Betty Jelfs but the Golds lost 62-36.
Things were a little better next time out when Littleton lost 113-95 to Hewell when only fine wins by Stan Richardson, Keith Meredith, John Scott and skipper Dave Hill brought some solace for the home team.
