PAUL West was disappointed yet philosophical after watching his Evesham United side lose for the first time this season.
"The key word is 'clinical', the manager declared after Monday's loss. "I couldn’t have asked any more of my players in terms of endeavour but we weren't ruthless enough in front of goal.
"I was very proud of my players who gave their all against another fancied team. The turning point was when the referee turned down a penalty claim in the first half when even the home dugout were convinced one should have been awarded. It was a poor decision by the referee."
Goalkeeper Nathan Vaughan will return for Saturday's visit of second in the table Farnborough but Danny Scheppel's injured hamstring will keep him sidelined for another week.
The Robins make the first of one of many trips down the M5 on Tuesday night when they visit Clevedon Town.
Jim and Jenny Cockerton are sponsoring the Farnborough match with the ball being sponsored by Willersey Provisions.
