EVESHAM United are riding the crest of a wave as they prepare to continue their FA Cup adventure tomorrow (3pm).

The Robins take on Chalfont St Peter at the Jubilee Stadium for £7,500 and a fourth qualifying round place.

Paul Collicutt’s side could not be in better form after back-to-back 5-0 home wins in Southern League Division One South and West over Swindon Supermarine and Clevedon Town.

The United manager hopes those wins, as well as the second qualifying round replay success over Histon, hold his team in good stead against the Division One Central outfit.

“Everybody is looking forward to it and we would like to attract more people to come to the game with it being the cup,” Collicutt said.

“There’s a buzz about the place and that’s what the cup brings. The club haven’t put any pressure on me to do well in the cup. It’s all just a bonus.

“Chalfont St Peter are no mugs and we will give them a lot of respect.”

Evesham hope to have centre-half Linden Dovey (hip) fit. Forwards Lance Smith and Ashley Edenborough scored a hat-trick and brace respectively against Clevedon.
