LINDEN Dovey dominated Evesham United’s presentation evening at the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium.

The 28-year-old centre-half was voted players’ player and manager’s player of the season for the 2014-15 campaign after the second-placed Robins lost in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West play-off semi-finals.

Liam Harding and Will Wellon were joint winners of the most improved player award, while the Evesham supporters gave their accolade to keeper Kevin Sawyer.

Doug Marshall and Richard Southern shared the clubman-of-the-season gong, which was reintroduced after last being handed out in 2000.

The voluntary duo keep the stadium and surroundings clean and tidy while assisting the groundsman when required.

Meanwhile, Evesham visit National League South side Gosport Borough in a pre-season friendly in Hampshire on Saturday, July 11 (3pm).

Midland League neighbours Littleton visit United for a friendly on Tuesday, July 28 (7.45pm).
