TRIALISTS Ben Prictor and Leon Jeanne will have one more chance to impress Evesham United manager Paul Collicutt.

Former Cirencester Town left-sided player Prictor and one-time Cardiff City starlet Jeanne look set to get a run-out in Saturday’s home friendly against higher- graded Stourbridge (3pm).

The duo both impressed Collicutt in the Robins’ emphatic 7-0 triumph against Littleton in a midweek warm-up match at the Jubilee Stadium.

Prictor netted Evesham’s second goal and the experienced Jeanne, who hails from Cardiff, provided a couple of assists.

Collicutt admitted: “We are still a long way off yet and will have to make our minds up about those two players over the weekend.

“Prictor is a naturally left- footed player who can play at left-back or left wing and he actually started off the pre- season at Cirencester.”

He added: “Jeanne is another interesting one who has played for a lot of clubs and has a troubled past.

“But he can play wide on the left, wide on the right or up front and offers us something.

“They will get another chance against Stourbridge, and then we will come to a decision over the weekend.”

However, the Robins have completed the signing of north Herefordshire-based striker Sam Pearson, a former Pegasus Juniors and Leominster Town player.

Pearson scored Hereford FC’s first ever goal at Malvern Town 12 months ago and opened Evesham’s account against Littleton.

Prictor notched the second before half-time, while Paul Fahy and Ashley Williams also got on the scoresheet.

Substitute Lance Smith completed the rout with a hat-trick in the final 11 minutes.
