FOUR games survived the persistent wet weather in the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday Football League.

Division One outfit Defford and Besford United reached the last eight of the Express-Funding Mick Godwin Cup with a narrow 2-1 win over Inkberrow from Division Three.

Lee Barton struck twice for Defford with Brant replying for Inkberrow.

The top two march on in Division Two but leaders Tewkesbury Town were made to work hard by Offenham Rovers for their 3-2 success.

Town scored through Petitt, Halling and Scott Jordan as a brace from Jordan was not enough to grab Rovers a point.

Second-placed WMK comfortably dispatched Evesham United Harriers 9-1 with goals from Sklenaar (5), Wiggins (2), Jeal and Ealing. Gary Dyke netted a consolation for Harriers.

Division Four leaders Stratford United hit nine without reply against Ambi Allsports with the goal-scorers being Dalloway (3), Ford (2), Bannergee (2), Dolce and Jeynes.
