WILL Gayton snapped up a hat-trick in Littleton’s emphatic 8-1 home victory against Nuneaton Griff in the Midland League Division One.

Littleton overpowered the visitors with seven second-half goals and have now extended their unbeaten run to eight games.

They had to wait until 37 minutes before they took the lead when Gayton headed in Matt Chambers’ corner. Gayton rattled the bar just before the interval.

Luke Rowlands notched Littleton’s second goal and Gayton bagged the third from close range.

Rowlands made it 4-0 before Corden replied for the visitors.

Littleton restored their four-goal advantage immediately after through James Schembri, who added his second goal soon afterwards.

Kyonn Evans put the hosts into seventh heaven and then Gayton completed the rout.

Littleton are away to Lichfield on Saturday (3pm).
