SCOTT Walsh is the new player-manager at Midland League Division One outfit Pershore Town.
Walsh had been the caretaker boss and replaces Gary Aldington, who left the club earlier this month.
Town produced a hard-working performance and a leveller from Sean Brain secured a point from a 1-1 draw at Studley last weekend.
While the hosts hit the woodwork, the more clear-cut chances fell to Pershore.
And Pershore could have taken the lead through Brain, Steve Roche and Grant Baker, who all missed chances.
However, Studley broke the deadlock before half-time with a Josh Mckenzie header.
Town showed plenty of spirit and fight after the interval and deservedly drew level. Baker put Brain clear and he slotted the ball past the advancing keeper.
Town host Stafford at the Winstanley King George V Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
