LITTLETON remain fourth in the Midland League Division One table after crashing to a 4-0 defeat at Hinckley.

Hinckley fully deserved their victory but Littleton felt the hosts’ four-goal second-half blitz gave a false impression.

Littleton survived an early barrage and went close to opening the scoring with a Kyonn Evans drive, which sailed over.

Evans again had a shot on target, this time pushed for a corner. From the corner kick, the ball agonisingly ran across the face of the goal.

The second-half started poorly for Littleton and former Worcester City player Marco Adaggio put Hinckley ahead from close-range.

Littleton then had their best spell and they poured forward looking for the equaliser.

Evans again went close for Littleton but his drive was cleared off the line with the home goalkeeper beaten.

Hinckley doubled their advantage through Adaggio, and Matt Gardner scored twice to complete the rout.

Littleton are without a game on Saturday.
