PERSHORE Town earned a well-deserved 0-0 goalless draw at second-placed Bromsgrove Sporting in Midland League Division One.
The visitors were the better team in the first half and enjoyed more possession although goal-scoring opportunities were limited.
County rivals Bromsgrove had far more of the ball in the second period playing down the slope and hit Pershore’s woodwork.
Town remained dangerous on the break in front of 397 fans and the point lifted them up to 17th position.
Pershore host fourth-placed Hinckley at the Winstanley and Co King George V Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
Tenth-placed Littleton visit Heather St Johns in the league on Saturday (3pm) after their home game with Lichfield City was postponed last weekend.
Littleton crashed 5-1 at Malvern Town in the Worcester Royal Infirmary Cup on Tuesday night after being 2-0 down at half-time.
