PERSHORE Town’s two new girls’ football teams are going from strength to strength.
Funding from the Grow The Game scheme, run by the Premier League and Football Association, allowed Town to hold taster days and buy kit.
The under-9s and under-11s teams joined the Mercian Fortis Junior League and have progressed well with new players joining throughout the season.
Jimmy Croy and Natasha Williams are coaching both teams, assisted by Natalie Kyle and Libby Kyle.
The passionate players have quickly developed their skills and knowledge of the sport.
They have been helped by the purchase of new training jackets thanks to JY Welding and GreenMech.
The teams train on Monday evenings at Pershore High School and play matches on Saturday mornings.
Girls or coaches can still get involved, contact Hannah Burton by phoning on 07729-370156.
