JACKSONS Fairfield reached the Evesham Mechanical Services Knockout Cup final for the first time in their short history.

A strong second-half performance with goals from McAll and Scrivens secured a 2-0 win over Defford and Besford United.

Jacksons will lock horns with Division One outfit Fladbury Athletic in the final.

Fladbury were narrowly beaten 3-2 by leaders Evesham WMC in Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division One.

Jonathan Mather (2), McElroy and Malone were on target for Eckington. Five goals from Watts and one apiece for Barton and Knott saw Ecosamba thump Pebworth 7-0 in the Bluck Cup third round. Division Two high-fliers Alcester Town and Bredon fought out a seven-goal thriller with the visitors taking the honours.

Goals from Webb and Downey for Alcester were not enough as Jordan (3), Smart and Singer netted for Bredon.

The only Division Three game saw Badsey Recreation come away from Cropthorne with a 3-2 win thanks to Bishop, Trotman and Lowe after Letterese netted twice for the hosts.

Ruby Jacks’ woes continued with a 8-3 defeat to Dragons with Payne, Shoots and Davis scoring.

Macey (4), Sinden, Rossitor, Miller and Higgingbottom were on target for Dragons.

Fortis continued their good form with a 3-1 win at fellow strugglers Ambi Allsports.

Pollaci, Sadler and Jonathan Wallace scored for Fortis with Boother replying.
