PERSHORE Town’s much-improved form continued at the Winstanley King George V Stadium with a 2-0 win over Southam United in Midland League Division One.
Stuart Hall and Joe Walsh scored the goals as Town recorded their third consecutive victory.
They had opportunities to open the scoring in the first-half with Joe Robinson and Walsh going close.
Town were dominant in the second period and opened the scoring when a defensive mix-up allowed Hall to place the ball into an empty net from just inside the area.
The hosts continued to create chances and deservedly increased their lead in the 69th minute when Walsh scored with a left-footed drive on the turn.
Southam, managed by former Pershore defender Quentin Townsend, saw their misery complete with Kevin Spencer sent off late on.
