Big win puts Bourton Rovers on verge of title
BOURTON Rovers are just one win away from being crowned Witney and District FA League Division One champions.
They picked up a 6-0 win over Hailey Reserves through Adam Webley (2), Connor Teague (2), Sam Mattock and Charlie Vinton.
Chipping Norton Town went out of the Senior Cup quarter-finals with a 2-0 home defeat to Hailey.
Town also suffered midweek heartache in the Fred Ford Cup last four with a 2-1 loss to Spartan Rangers when Andrew Helby netted.
Winchcombe Town remain second from bottom in Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division Two after a 0-0 draw at Quedgeley Wanderers.
