BENGEWORTH scored a goal in each half to defeat Fortis 2-0 and reach the last eight of the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League’s Bluck Cup.

Iorns and Giles netted for the much-improved Evesham side.

Bengeworth are joined by Quinton, who hit four without reply against Stratford United.

In Division Two, Evesham United Sunday denied Harvington the chance to go top with a hard-earned 3-2 victory.

Bunn gave Harvington the lead inside the first minute but Sone and Biddle replied to put Evesham in front before Ferguson levelled matters at the interval.

A deflected Ashby free-kick was enough to give Evesham the points.

Cropthorne put eight past Broadway United Reserves with four goals in each half.

Badsey Recreation won their first league match of the season to leapfrog opponents Tesco United.
