LITTLETON ended their Midland Football League Division One campaign with a dramatic comeback to beat Bolehall Swifts 3-2.

The result moved the Five Acres hosts up to ninth in the table.

They dominated the early proceedings and went close when a Dan Stokes cross was headed over by Lewis Marston.

In the 16th minute Kyonn Evans broke through the Bolehall defence before being taken down and the referee awarded a penalty only to change his decision after consulting his assistant.

Littleton had two efforts disallowed only to see the visitors go ahead when Jordan Gardiner poked home from close range after a defensive mistake.

The visitors went two up after 51 minutes when Gardiner again pounced on another defensive error, rounding keeper Conor McCarthy to score.

A double substitution saw player-manager Michael Hayden enter the game and make an immediate impact, supplying Evans with a through-ball to make it 2-1.

Hayden then went on to turn goal-scorer to level on 70 minutes and he added a winner after 82.

Littleton end their season on Saturday when they play Premier Division side Stourport Swifts in the Worcester Infirmary Junior Cup final at Malvern Town (3pm).
