THE Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup will be contested by two Evesham Sunday League teams for the first time this season.

Evesham WMC and Bretforton Old Boys made it through their respective semi-finals to create history for the league in the county competition.

The Workies saw off much-fancied CBH Fasteners via a penalty shootout after Elliot Grady had netted twice in a 2-2 draw.

Top-flight champions Bretforton maintained their quadruple hopes with a 5-3 victory at Hawthorns.

Offenham Rovers came from behind to reach the Bromsgrove Charity Cup final with a 2-1 fightback victory against Redditch-based Lodge Park. Ed Bagley and an own goal to clinch the tie.

New Inn Pershore, beaten finalists last season, reached the Evesham Mechanical Services Knockout Cup final courtesy of a 3-2 success against Broadway United reserves.

In Division Two, county cup finalists Cropthorne won 6-0 at Bredon thanks to goals from John Boother (2), Anthony Smith (2), John Crenan and Aron Leterese.

Alderton maintained their promotion push with a 7-3 victory at Charlton Fladbury. The other two games in the division both ended goalless as Sun Inn got held by Badsey Recreation and TDMS Harvington and Bretforton Old Boys reserves played out a stalemate.

Third division TDMS Evesham upset leaders Pebworth with an unlikely 4-0 triumph. Will McGarr, Matthew Clements, Josh Rogers and Luke Phipps got the goals.

An Alex Lane double helped Dragons to come from behind to defeat Strawberry Field United 2-1 after Connor Corr scored the opener.

Ambi Allsports racked up a 7-1 victory over Fairfield Titans with Steve Bullock (2), Colin Dawe, Adrian Booth, Vinnie Booth, Gary Dyke and Max Tarry on the score sheet. Josh Miller netted for Fairfield.

Ashton 88 won 2-1 at Stour Excelsior reserves, while Alcester Town completed a comfortable 6-1 thrashing of Stratford HGC.
