OLYMPIC champion Alex Gregory believes there is “more to come” from the Great Britain men’s four after a dominant World Cup display.
The former Evesham club rower cruised to victory in Aiguebelette, France, five seconds clear of rivals Australia and USA.
But the crew of Gregory, Andrew Triggs Hodge, George Nash and Moe Sbihi want to improve further.
Chipping Campden's Matt Gotrel, 25, impressed with Paul Bennett in the men's pair, his first international race in the event, with bronze.
Former Bredon Hill Middle School pupil Gregory is world, Olympic, European and national champion.
The 30-year-old from Wormington said: “We’ve just got to keep on, there’s still more to come. We’re not perfect yet but we’re pretty pleased with how the weekend went."
The Brits are building towards the World Championships in August.
Gregory races at the Henley Royal Regatta next month in the men’s four for the Stewards’ Challenge Cup.
