PERSHORE Hockey Club sealed two impressive victories in the Midland’s League West Midlands Divsion One.
They recorded a 5-3 derby success against Evesham and then followed it up with another derby win, beating Droitwich 5-3.
Pershore fell 2-0 behind against Evesham before storming back with goals from Ed Deacon and Anthony Handley. A brace from Russ Mcgettigan put Pershore in control before Steve Ridsdale rounded off the scoring.
A hat-trick from Russ Scudamore led Pershore to victory against Droitwich despite the hosts slipping to an early 2-0 deficit. Gareth Rushton bagged a brace for Pershore.
Pershore Ladies picked up a hard-fought point from a 1-1 draw against table-topping Redditch in the Worcestershire Women’s League Division One.
Pershore went ahead through Emma Gardner and they held the lead until early in the second-half.
