Fog can’t stop new quartet at Broadway Golf Club
BROADWAY Golf Club held their annual drive-in despite the men’s winter league fifth round being postponed due to the weather.
The four 2015 captains teed off into their new year in office with the ladies’ Debbie Donoghue leading the way followed by the juniors’ Keiran Sutton, who fired a superb shot into the foggy distance.
The seniors’ Gareth Lewis was next on the tee, leaving club captain Warren McDivitt to send the final drive soaring down the fairway.
Despite the sub-zero temperatures, many club members supported the event.
