LEADERS Pershore 'A' stretched their lead over Inkberrow 'A' to three points in South Warwickshire All Seasons Winter League Division Two.
On frosty courts, the Inkberrow first pair beat Dave Lambert and Pete McCreanor in straight sets but lost in similar style to Mike Langston and debutant Brad Smith.
The other rubbers saw both Pershore duos hit back from one set down to make it 1-1 with county player Langston and 14-year-old Smith winning through 2-1.
Lambert and McCreanor held out to triumph 6-4 in the final set and clinch a 3-1 team success for Pershore.
Past leaders Littleton 'A' were thumped by Leamington 'B' 4-0.
Pershore finish their season at home to Leamington 'B', who are now one point behind in second spot.
