WALLACE House Troopers secured a crucial 6-4 victory over Evesham and District Association Specsavers Division Two leaders Bengeworth Sharks.
Keith Ferguson boasted three wins and partnered John Mytton to a doubles success.
With games in hand, they are in a strong position to top the table after also defeating Littleton Bears 7-3.
Averages leader Paul Bruner, of Littleton, lost in straight sets to third-placed Ferguson.
Wyre Warriors and Bengeworth Green fought out a 5-5 draw. Ray Griffiths and Michael Jones each won two for Wyre, but Dave Simkins and Ian Facer matched them.
At the bottom, Bengeworth Wolves salvaged a point against Littleton Dolphins in a 7-3 defeat. Ewan Gear and Stephen Markham won one match each and the doubles.
