Another victory for young cyclist Aimee Lane
EVESHAM’S Aimee Lane claimed the girls’ under 12s honours at a Mid Shropshire Wheelers circuit race at Shrewsbury.
The 11-year-old St Egwin’s Middle School pupil won ahead of last year’s regional champion over 10 laps of the track.
Meanwhile, Evesham Wheelers’ Steve Goodbier rode the Helfa Cymraeg Benjamin Allen ar, over 302 kilometres from Tewkesbury to Llandovery and back, in 12 hours nine minutes 34 seconds at an average speed of 16mph.
Wheelers cycled out to Wichenford via Worcester over 60 miles.
