KINGTON Blades are champions of Evesham and District Table Tennis Association Specsavers Division One after beating Bengeworth Red 7-3 in their final match.
Jack Davis won three for Reds but Blades showed the strength in depth behind their success as Clive Irwin, Craig Norledge and Alan Cotton won two each.
Also including John Price, who did not play in this final match, the core Blades squad all finished in the individual top 10 this season.
Littleton Clubs finished in second place with a draw against third-placed Littleton Positives.
Clubs were without their number one player Dave Harvey, who finished top of the season averages with a 100 per cent record.
Positives’ Nick Mytton won three on the night and finished second in the averages with 47 wins from 51 played.
Littleton Aces took fourth place following an 8-2 win over Littleton Cobras.
Andrew Taylor was player of the match with three wins, including a thrilling five-set battle against Craig Witheford.
