EVESHAM Jubilee AS’s Easter egg match involved 25 anglers on their fishery’s Jubilee and Withies pools.
Barry Blewitt won off Jubilee peg 17 with 21lb 0oz ahead of Steve Rogers (J15, 15-4) and Richard Ford (J22, 13-12).
Section victors were Ray Nosworthy (13-8), Martin Smith (11-10), Derek Hopkins (11-10) and nine-year-old Billy Pitman with a carp of 9-3.
At Shipston-on-Stour AC’s Aston Magna pools in the National Angling Times Supercup first round, Jubilee’s six men won with Ian Pitman, match victor Chris Taylor, Phil Seedhouse and Dave Bowditch claiming three sections.
