FLADBURY Paddle Club members enjoyed eye-catching results in the British Canoeing National Sprint Regatta.
The competition at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, was an international selections qualifier.
Fladbury had eight competitors with Jonathan Jones and James Styan providing a highlight, coming first and third respectively in the men’s 1,000-metre C1 race.
Jones took second place in the 500m C1 sprint, beating two Olympic hopefuls on the way.
Fladbury have high hopes of their members winning places in this year’s Olympics Hopes Team.
