RACER Clive Wadey bagged one win and two second places in the British Historic Racing Championship for Air Cooled Solos up to 500cc.
The Paxford Garage owner was riding a Dresda Honda 500 in the first round at Mallory Park.
Wadey contested a wet practice session in Leicestershire and qualified on the third row of the grid for the opener in damp conditions.
He was fourth going into the first corner and made steady progress in the challenging weather to finish first over the line.
The second race saw a long battle with Peter Carroll for the lead, and Wadey should have won.
But an official miscounted completed laps and an extra one was added when Carroll got past the Cotswold rider.
Wadey regained the lead at the hairpin but then realised there was a yellow flag at the corner so had to give Carroll the position back.
In the third race, he finished second to his rival again.
