BIRLINGHAM’S Shukokai Karate Federation students secured medals in the SKF Annual National Tournament at Portway Lifestyle Centre in Oldbury.
The Vale club’s Ben Graves bagged gold for team fighting and bronze for individual fighting.
Assistant instructor Josie Farrow secured a silver medal for individual women’s fighting and bronze for team kata.
Mollie Down also returned from the West Midlands venue with bronze for team kata.
In her first competition, Tori Lea Redmond took a well-earned bronze medal for cadet kata.
SKF chief instructor Shihan Eddie Daniels said he was pleased with the club’s results.
