EVESHAM’S Full On Racing team finished fifth in class at Snetterton’s Hottrax Towergate Clubman Endurance 1000 Championship fourth round.

The town’s Terry Fuller was joined by John Kilcar and third rider Gavin Bartlett as the challenge went up from three hours to six in Norfolk.

Fuller’s HP4 machine overheated late on during testing and was put to one side during qualifying due to a technical issue.

He had to race on his BMW S1000RR as Full On Racing qualified 14th out of 30 teams on the grid.

Kilcar lost a few places due to the bike not starting straight away and then being cut up by other riders.

Fuller’s first stint did not go well either when he had to pit early on after his bike suffered a sudden lack of power.

Bartlett took over for his first session, despite a thumb injury, and pushed on until his engine died, leading to his retirement.

Full On Racing were hit with a 60-second penalty for going down to two bikes and two riders before they successfully tackled several other mechanical issues.

Fuller got his lap times down to two minutes in the latter part of the race.

They hauled back a few places to get up to 14th and fourth in class before dropping down to 16th and fifth respectively.

Full On Racing’s next race is at Cheshire’s Oulton Park on June 12 and 13.
