LITTLETON Bowling Club enjoyed fine victories over Cheltenham’s Suffolk Square and Gloucester’s Barnwood.
In the Pershore Bowls Centre Concorde League, the men beat Overbury, who were two players short due to injury, 97-67¼.
Littleton won on four of the five rinks with the best being 22-10 from captain Mike Emms, Will Heming, Les Griffin and Dave Turner.
Due to injury and illness, the ladies only fielded three rinks against Overbury, losing on two and 66-41 on shots overall.
The club need more women to take part and potential newcomers can call on 01386-830198 or head along any Wednesday after 6pm with flat shoes to join in.
Littleton’s annual gala tournament is on Sunday, July 5, and there are limited places for mixed teams of four players.
A tour has been organised to the Torquay area in September and there are spare places.
