COTSWOLD trainer John Gallagher enjoyed two more victories on the Flat.

Three-year-old Amber Crystal (4-1) made all the running to lift the Compare Prices At attheraces.com/odds Selling Stakes at Leicester by three-and-a-quarter lengths from 5-4 favourite Pool House.

The Chastleton handler also secured a success at Brighton through five-year-old Port Lairge (7-2 second-favourite) by one-and-three-quarter lengths with Martin Lane again on board.

Gallagher, who retained filly Amber Crystal for 5,700 guineas, said: “She doesn’t like too many horses around her. She doesn’t like any hassle. I don’t know why. She doesn’t do it at home.

“She’s got bags of toe and I think she’ll win again at this grade.”

At Stratford over the jumps, Naunton trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies picked up a three-and-a-quarter-length victory through Speed Master (9-2) and his jockey son Sam.

The nine-year-old secured a sixth career win in the Sims Garden Machinery Handicap Hurdle.
