US chance for Sally Gilder
EVESHAM Archery Club’s Sally Gilder is representing Great Britain in the USA at the World Youth Championships.
The 18-year-old has progressed from Archery GB’s central performance academy and is now in a world-class talent confirmation programme.
She recently attended her first senior international competition in World Cup Stage Two in Antalya, Turkey, and was placed second in the national junior rankings in 2013.
The youth competition runs in Yankton, South Dakota, until Sunday and Gilder is challenging for women’s junior recurve honours.
