CHIPPING Norton horse trainer Charlie Longsdon enjoyed a Market Rasen double with Shear Rock and Kilfinichen Bay winning under the guidance of Richard Johnson.

Five-year-old Shear Rock recorded his second successive victory, clinching the Download The Racing UK iPad App Handicap Hurdle by a neck under jockey Johnson when an 11-10 favourite.

The next race in Lincolnshire also went the way of Longsdon as Kilfinichen Bay (10-3 second-favourite) prospered by one length with Johnson again on board to make it five wins in six meetings for the seven-year-old.

There were honours closer to home for Stow-on-the-Wold trainer Graeme McPherson, who tasted success at Worcester through Flying Light (11-2) and jockey Wayne Hutchinson by a nose.
