EVESHAM teenager George Anderson secured fourth and fifth place finishes in the Thundersport GB HMT Racing Stocktwins class at Oulton Park.
The 17-year-old GA Racing competitor had qualified third on the Suzuki SV650 from his best session of the season after being second quickest in practice.
Anderson, now sixth in the standings, said: “I got away to an average start in race one and just couldn’t stay with the front three but was none-the-less pleased with fourth place, especially with it being double points.
“I got a bad start in race two but made it back up to fourth in a few laps although too late to think about the front three.
“I had a massive moment at Lodge when the bike tried to high-side me and had me out of the seat but I managed to stay on and, with my pit board saying I had a decent gap behind me, eased off and thought fifth was safe with a worn rear tyre.”
The next round is at Rockingham on July 25 and 26.
