PERSHORE women’s masters team rolled back the years with two Worcester County Relay Championships gold medals.

Helen Annis, Buffy Simister, Ceris Styler and Marie Porter won the 4x50-metre medley in two minutes 26.18 seconds and the 4x50m freestyle in 2.12.43.

The club claimed three golds, three silvers and five bronzes with the boys’ 11 to 12 year team snatching a 4x50m freestyle victory in 1.59.92. Kieran Cooper, Patrick Heeks, Hamish Cross and Will Gearey earned a 4x50m medley silver in 2.17.58.

The 13 to 14 year team of Luke Perry, Chris Vizard, Josh Sharratt and Simon Sweatman secured 4x50m freestyle silver in 1.55.69 and 4x50m medley bronze in 2.12.76.

Gabriella Barry, Jasmine Hoskins, Tamara Marsden and Lauren Annis, in the girls’ nine to 10 year team, finished third in both the 4x50m freestyle and 4x50m medley in 2.23.61 and 2.47.92 respectively.

The 11 to 12 year group of Jasmine Franks, Hannah Woodcock, Megan Annis and Alexandra Barry took a 4x50m freestyle bronze in 2.02.47. Isabella Woodcock replaced Franks in the 4x50m medley as they were third again in 2.16.65.

Pershore’s mixed masters team of John Sweatman, Mike Leach, Chloe Naughton and Styler bagged 4x50 medley silver in 2.27.67.

Simister, John Sweatman, Leach and Amanda Cooper were fourth in the 4x50m freestyle in 2.25.47.

The boys’ nine to 10 team of Lewis Cribben, James Heeks, Oliver Smith and David Annis finished fourth in the 4x50m medley in 3.00.79 and fifth in the 4x50m freestyle in 2.36.38.

The girls’ 13 to 14 team of Amy Weston, Hannah Simister, Amy Cooper and Naomi Marsden were fifth in the 4x50m medley in 2.16.11 and fifth in the freestyle in 2.01.54, with Jasmine Taite switching for Simister.

Owen Leeks, Drew Jones, Jack Betteridge and Calum Sanderson, in the boys’ 15 to 16 team, managed fourth in the 4x50m medley in 2.09.22 and fifth in the freestyle in 1.57.72, with Will Clarke replacing Jones.
