EVESHAM twins enjoyed a busy but successful season for the Stratford-upon-Avon and District Academy.

Jordan Lee, 14, became Warwickshire and Midlands champion in the schoolboy championships, winning the latter in a thrilling contest in Stoke.

He lost in the national quarter-finals to an awkward, tricky opponent but gave 100 per cent as always.

Jake Lee, 14, was also a Warwickshire and Midlands champion before facing the favourite to win the schoolboy championships in their weight category in the semi-finals in Evesham.

He lost on points but held his own with the opponent going on to win both the national and Tri Nations titles.

The academy are now looking forward to the start of the new season with Evesham’s Jason Johnson, 15, competing in the junior development championship.
