WORCESTERSHIRE Gymnastics Academy secured 17 medals from the fifth West Midlands Regional Six Piece Championships at Birmingham’s GMAC Arena.
The Stock Wood-based squad increased their training leading up to the competition to compete to the best of their ability.
They were taking part on all six men’s artistic pieces in floor, pommel mushroom, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar.
Worcestershire enjoyed a fantastic day with several gymnasts recently moving into the competition squad and competing at their first regional championships.
Some truly flawless routines gave the club possibly their best results to date.
Twenty-two gymnasts won nine gold medals, five silvers and three bronzes between them. They are now preparing new routines for their next competition in Stoke in December.
