County schools progress in table tennis championships
WORCESTERSHIRE County Table Tennis Association held their competitions for under 19s and under 16s boys.
The under 16s cup was dominated by Evesham’s Prince Henry’s High School as they beat St Michael’s College, Tenbury, 8-0 and Bromsgrove School 6-2.
Bromsgrove secured the runners-up spot with a 6-2 win over St Michael’s.
The championships at St Egwin’s Middle School, Evesham, saw Bromsgrove take the under 19s title with a 5-3 success over St Michael’s.
The victors go to the zone finals in January and face winners from various regions, including Birmingham, the Black Country, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
